30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and Singapore: Eco-City Demonstrates Development and Construction Achievements

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Singapore. With the increasing intensity and depth of cooperation between the two countries in infrastructure construction, real estate, manufacturing, talent training and other fields, the tree of friendship and cooperation carefully cultivated by the two countries has now flourished and borne abundant fruits.

As a strategic cooperation project between the governments of China and Singapore, the development and construction of the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City embodies the friendship and wisdom of the two countries. In the documentary “Inheriting the Past and Leading to the Future, Intensive Cultivation” produced by the Chinese Embassy in Singapore on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Singapore, the development and construction achievements of the Eco-City are shown.

Wang Guoliang, Director of the Eco-City Management Committee, said: “The Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City is a strategic cooperation project between the Chinese and Singaporean governments. It has transformed the previously ecologically fragile, barren saline-alkali wasteland into a vibrant green new city. Many Singaporean friends have traveled far away from home for the Eco-City, and have regarded this place as their second home. They have contributed their wisdom and strength, and devoted their efforts and sweat to the prosperity of this land of the Eco-City.”

Wang Guoliang, Director of the Eco-City Management Committee, said: “This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Singapore. The development and construction of the Eco-City has also ushered in new development opportunities. I sincerely hope that the friendship between the two sides will last forever and that we will write a new chapter in our cooperation.”
